I’m looking at some DL325’s to replace an aging UCS environment from 2014. EPYC 7002 Serie Prozessoren und Plattformen hier kaufen. Just doing a refresh here and moving to all 7702P’s for virtualization hosts. No sense in getting something with a ton of cores that you won't use, when you can get something with a lower core count (less $$ on CPU and license) and higher clock speed (better performance). AMD Epyc 7542 32x 2.90 GHz … I have a an EPYC 7302P in production since early 2020. Would AVX512 be nice to have? share. Thanks for not getting bogged in the weeds. Same for Ryzen on client systems.
