Come and learn some beautiful old melodies from UK and Ireland!

What?
In this workshop we are going to learn by ear some lovely melodies from old collections on the British Isles. Chord suggestions will be provided as well as a short overview of music collections from that area and time. Sheet music will be provided at the end of the workshop, recordings welcome.

Some collections we will embrace:
F. Barsanti - Collection of Old Scot Tunes (1742)
William Vickers Collection of Dance Tunes - The Great Northern Tune Book (1770)
John & William Neal – A Collection of the most celebrated Irish Tunes (1724)
Playford – The English Dancing Master (1651)
J. Oswald - Caledonian Pocket Companion (1760)

Pitch: 440Hz, Language: German or English as required
