The Trad Music Workshop is an annual gathering of musicians, singers and dancers eager to learn traditional music. There is a focus on music from Ireland and Scotland, but we also invite tutors from other countries and musical traditions to teach at Lockenhaus. So far we had music from Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Austria, Brittany and more, as well as dance workshops.
This year we will have the following workshops:

Trad for Kids 5-13 yrs (Irene Narnhofer)
Ensemble (Albin Paulus)
Song (Susan Coleman)
In addition Susan Coleman is offering one-on-one master classes for concertina or tin whistle and Christian Troger offers guitar master classes.
Of course it is possible to come just "as a guest" (i.e. not participating in a workshop). We would like to ask you to still register via our website, so we can calculate better (beer/food etc.)
Matthias Fohsl will offer a short yoga class every day focusing on musicians needs (mobilising neck/shoulders/back).
