St. Andrew's Night Ceilidh 2025

The legendary St. Andrew’s Night Ceilidh returns for its 39th edition on Friday, 7 November 2025!

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of Scottish music, dance, tradition and joy – right in the heart of Vienna.

A live Ceilidh band from Scotland will set the floor alight with energetic tunes, while experienced dancers guide everyone through the steps – so truly anyone can join in!

Whether you wear a kilt or not – everyone is welcome to dance, laugh, and celebrate together.

Why this Ceilidh is special:
The St. Andrew’s Night tradition began in 1985 at the Vienna International School, founded by teacher, rugby coach and bagpiper Colin Campbell as a charity event supporting the school’s rugby team.

Today, the Vienna Pipes and Drums and the Vienna Celtic Rugby Club proudly carry on this beloved tradition.

All proceeds from the evening go towards supporting the youth teams of Vienna Celtic Rugby and the Vienna Pipes and Drums Pipe Band, helping to nurture the next generation of musicians and athletes in Vienna.
